the chinese are not stupid, they will bring it online with some help. one very negative situation that has also come in to play is the moratorium placed in the gulf. I, being from louisiana, hope it is lifted and soon. As it was a completely stupid , knee jerk reaction that further damages the lives of the people involved who work for those companies in the gulf. Having said that, if the rigs leave, alot will end up in west africa, and those properties will , as a result, be more valuable.
