Where is the alleged finding by the UK Court that one of IDCC's patents is either invalid or not essential? All I've seen, at least on this board, is a ruling from the UK Court that Nokia is entitled to discovery in pursuant of their claim that the patent is either invalid or non-essential. As any attorney will tell you, there is a significant and substantial difference between allowing discovery and a legal finding. The scope of discovery is intentionally broad, to allow a party to have access to all relevant documents to prove its claim. What the discovery shows is an entirely different ball game.

So, my question is, has the UK Court only ruled (as i've seen) on discovery? Have I just not seen the other order holding a patent invalid or non-essential?
