Nomad....you certainly have presented several enlightening posts recently and you seem to know your "stuff". In your last post you appear to be painting a rather dim picture of BSTI and its business model both past and present.
I may be incorrect to assume that the distributors, whomever they might be, do not normally advertise their products that they have on their shelves to the public and ,as a matter of fact ,they may not even stock items unless there is a precluded demand. Distributors are not normally in the business of creating a product demand to the general public who in turn dictate the demand to the retailer. Ergo: no demand by the public...retailers have no demand to distributors and in turn the distributors may not stock. As a matter of fact, it is possible that distributors will not even think about stocking a product unless the demand is curently present. Very few will bet on the come line. Unfortunately, I believe that the manufacturer has to create the demand by advertising to the public and creating the demand...this will start the product flow wheels in motion..I guess what I am trying to say in a lot fewer words is that distributors alone may not be the salvation of BSTI. BSTI has to do a better job of what they have done so poorly in the past. I sure hope the CC proves me wrong.... [Suppressed Sound Link]...BB//BB
