Doug, NO, that is not what I said. (I assume you are paraphrasing, but you used quotes.)
Communication with shareholders is great and I did state: "Sure, its great that we hired someone else to help sell our product. I'm happy, but that doesn't mean I'm going to hide my opinions of what the PR means to me."

I don't think companies release PRs to communicate with shareholders directly. IMHO, its advertising. I beleive, under hidden agenda, that the PR is designed to target the market, new investors, financiers, maybe even customers and the competition.

For example, how many people here read FATS's PRs, but are not shareholders? Remember the FATS taser weapon PR? Was that directed to FATS shareholders or to potential VTSI customers?

I'll repeat a comment I sent to Kelly today via email:
"the "fluff" comment is not directed at or about the General or Virtra's decision to hire him."

To that end, I stand by my statement and make no excuses.
