Talk about Fiduciary Duty. If the EC is forced to "redo" all of the investigative work already completed by the debtors, then surely the Estate, including the debtors, will suffer as a result of having to pay the extra fees associated with the redundant research.

Question to Weil seems to be:
What is worth more to the Debtors? The cost of sharing the "fruit" with the EC, or the cost of the EC starting from scratch?
