it's just the natural recoil after the release of the downward pressure caused by the Marginistas (covering in anticipation as we moved down towards $3/share or being forced to cover once we got there).

I sure hope they didn't spoil our date with the Russell rebalance. Yes, I know that the judicious use of margin and even shorting makes the world go round, but perhaps the Leverage Junkies would be kind enough to just use options now that they are available because there may very well be continued downward pressure on the market in general and what do you know, deja vu, we'll be below $3 again.
