ANDR - I tried, but can't find any news. The only thing I can figure is that they may have moved ahead with international stage (foreign country) patent filings based on their current PCT application WO2009/07623 A1, which needs to be done by June 11. Pure speculation on my part, but 1) I work in patents and licensing, and 2) I've skim read through the patent application and it looks like it would be a good seller. Applicable to a wide variety of settings.

Again, pure speculation, but in looking through past 10Q's and K's over the years, the make or break factor in profitability for ANDR has been in licensing income.

Some pointers: 1) one does not need to have an issued patent to license the technology to another partner, such as an OEM and recieve royalties, 2)a PCT is an international patent application filing thru the World International Patent Organization (WIPO) and genrally (with exception for a few countries and non-WIPO members) an applicant has 30 months from the priority date (Dec 11, 2007 in this case) to file full (utility) patent applications in the member countries. 3) filing national stage applicaions is a very expensive proposition and depending on the number of countires in which you file, the filing fees (not including attorney/foreign associate costs) easily can run close to $200K. So, you only do this if you are dead serious/fkn certain of your technology and have a potential licensee to pick up costs (oy, believe me, I should know - I am looking at $180+K in fees in next 4-16 months on a biotech technology).

Again, pure speculation FWIFW. GLTA.
