Who ever said I gambled more than I could afford to lose?

What is the actually success rate? 3%? Does that mean I need to purchase almost 100 companies to suceed in 1?

Instead I did my research and decided to invest in only a few companies. Hoping that my research would pay off with an increased chance of success.

Is there anything wrong with that? Going blind into an investment is a gamble that has a good chance of losing you money.
