The setup involves the security settings on the router. The router comes with a disk that you install then you have to configure the router's security so your neighbor doesn't use your router to access the net. As well as gain access to files on computers attached to your network.

If you follow the directions it is relatively easy. The big issue is the key that is supplied once everything is set up. If the router is secured you'll be promted when connecting to it wirelessly to enter the key.

It is long like the keys for MS products. I have it saved in a file and copy and paste it. Beats typing the thing over and over.
