La. Gov. Bobby Jindal is calling for MOPN type solution to protect estuaries, as he decries barrier booms failure to contain heavy oil.
"Jindal compared the fight to head off the approaching oil to "knowing your body has cancer. ... We've got to stop this cancer from spreading [and] we'd much rather fight it on these coastal barrier islands than inland."

"We need more than just boom or skimmers," Jinadal said. "We need multiple lines of defense."
That "multiple line of defense" directly addresses MOPN's niche to absorb, not block oil. Does MOPN answer the phones? If so, I'll CALL MOPN and get them in touch with the Gov's office.
MOPN as I've already posted here, needs to send some DEMO product to be deployed so Gov. Jindal can believe what he sees. CNN will be there to document the deployment and subsequent results.
The State of La. can "bill" the proper party(s) for the orders for MOPN that will ensue.
