Ispro, in response to your observation, a fellow Wavoid believes there are two scenarios for the HP notebooks where SEDs are an option:

1. HP without SED option -> BIOS preboot, like they have always done with ProtectTools

2. HP with SED with -> SED/Wave/TDM -> SED preboot
