I thought I was being kind in not rebutting you. Your comments were based on a misinterpretation of the subject matter. In other words, it was extremely clear you had no idea how to read Malkiel's words.

How do you think future revenues, earnings, and everything else within a quarterly report are projected by using past information, IE prices, numbers, and calculations. Every single business projection had to be first based on a PAST price, number, or some sort of calculation.

LOL. You really don't have a clue. You are actually trying to state that fundamental analysis is done by using technical analysis.

Just to clue you in, business projections are not based on historical stock prices. Could you imagine a CFO recommending to his CEO that they should (or should not) expand their business operations overseas because their company's stock price traded at a certain dollar amount at a fixed point in time in the past? When companies predict sales, forecast revenues, project what types of competitor strategies they will face -- they aren't looking at historical stock prices.

You really don't understand this game. Please quit before you embarrass yourself further.
