If you are looking to learn something, you may want to can the attitude for a bit. I have not been following IH very long, but his plays have been some of the best that I have seen. There are quite a few boards on this site where the local guru will pump his/her picks (only after getting their position of course) only to sell once the herd buys in. This is not one of those boards. And from my experience, no... not all of IH's picks go up immediately or go up at all.
I'll admit, I have bought some of his picks and allowed myself to be stopped out. I've been stopped out of SHIP twice as a matter of fact. But I've also bought back in twice and I'm up overall on it. I also admit that I got my ass handed to me by FRGB. But that was in no way IH's fault. I was up over 100% on FRGB before the halt. I normally put a bracket order in immediately to put a protective stop in and a partial sell target. For some stupid reason, I didn't do it that time. I lost about $6,000 on that trade. I made it all back and a lot more from his PMI (bought at $2.22) and RAS (bought at 1.09).
It is a blessing to have someone that is so good at recommending stocks. But money management, exit strategy, and trading plan are the responsibilities of each investor/trader. I don't expect IH to hold my hand or spoon feed me. No one should.
