You said it well. Fear is the reason this will go up. Fear that people's 'money' (paper) is not worth a fraction of what it used to be, but in this case the fear will be real. That will happen very soon, and when it does they will turn to tangible assets that have intrinsic value. $5000-$10,000 per ounce is not out of the realm of possibility. Then you'll see people out with their metal detectors in the desert washes too, lol.
