I guess what really throws me is the “only” in would “only” benefit
future parties, but not benefit the parties in this case........", because if the future parties she is referring to are the shareholders and the “parties in this case” are the ones that hired Weil, then it does not make sense, because if the future parties are taken care of then the parties in this case will also be taken care of in full, if in fact a settlement trickles down to commons.
