Not so fast AM, bankruptcy comes in many forms.

The mere fact that profitability cannot be achieved at $2.00 let alone $3.00 is very alarming. Company silence appears to be a blatent attempt to drive share price down.(imo) Remember we have many elements within management and the BOD that have links to many other oil entities which has always concerned me.

Attorney's have many tricks up their sleeves and it is concievable to drive the company into the ground by cutting production and spending the cash then making a side agreement to aquire the assests privately for pennies while minimizing liabilities. Don't forget these guys see each others hands while we continue to guess. I personally have seen this done with a private firm so don't rule it out. Given managements blackout anything is possible and infighting could facilitate just such an action.

Check out this post from a company which BK'd on Fri.

Just guess work on my part but considering company actions, the markets current liquidity problems coupled with managements actions following the Enron debacle anything is possible IMO.
