Overall, I think that you may well be right. Why bother with filings when all the news is bad and there is no end in sight for the losses. Johnnie is doing OK with the operating fees from ProCo, CB can semi-retire and pan for gold, and JC can keep selling fractional intrests in marginal wells. Everyone is happy but the common shareholders, but who cares about those saps anyway, right?

PS: Where has contractor been lately? I'd imagine that it would be pretty hard for him to defend whats going on now.
