Happy New Year...and a question. My backup computer, a HP Pavilion 7850, recently lost all its sound. All built into the motherboard so I picked up a separate sound card and installed it, along with appropriate hardware. Still nothing. Any thoughts? I know I'm not giving much to go on but it is also a holiday and will wait for any questions that might lead to a remedy. TIA...fda
