"massive" this is too strong a word implies traders should short in a panic. We short when there is an underlying technical and fundamental reason to short. We don't scare people into shorting, we try to provide some valid reasons to short that are confirmed pretty quickly and not some particular time in the future. I do like FNM for a potential put play but would rather wait until next week.
