A fresh Malawarebyte scan is not finding anything so there is hope all is resolved.

One last thing. I have a 500GB SEAGATE peripheral hard drive that was probably connected to my infected laptop, and I do not know if it did a backup while the laptop was infected.

Should I do a Malawarebyte scan on E:/ drive only? Or is there a safer way to avoid re-infection??
Thanks!!
