Thanks for the list. I must say I've looked at many of these over the years.

I do happen to own the #1 from your list, BX Blackstone Group in my GIEW portfolio.

This LD-AIM program was started in June, 2007 and I have had 6 Buys and 4 Sells subsequent to that initial purchase.
I own 6 times the # shares than the original Actual purchase at an average price that is half the original price. One of the Buys was 80% lower in price than my original Buy.

With only 10 transactions over almost 3 years, it doesn't behave like most of my other holdings from a volatility standpoint, but that is true of almost any dividend payor I think.

But the dividend doesn't hurt either. It is treated differently for tax purposes than a regular dividend as it is classified as a "Partnership Distribution". Of course my total portfolio is within an IRA, so no tax hit anyway. The March distribution was 2% of the holdings value at that time.
