Hasher: Reasons for mfrs/auto industry apparent disinterest?... I know this is sketchy, but back in 2000 or '01 while doing an EDGAR scan of major pwtc shareholders, to see what sort of folks I'd partnered with...I thought I recalled seeing a listing for a large bloc (1MM or so,[pre-diluted] shares) being held, or placed in trust, on behalf of one Geo. W. Bush. And I couldn't help wondering at the time, surely not, 'THE GWB'?? Then I remembered, didn't Snaper associate Dr. Hugo Pohmerein serve as advisor to Pres. Bush Sr.'s Dept. of Energy? So, of course, what advantage could emerge by being simultaneously involved with big oil, the auto industry, hydrogen/hybrid veh. r&d, (EV) battery tech., and possible military interests. As a small investor, I can appreciate covering several bases for profit potential, or even share-voting influence. But, can only guess what other nexus might exist among such a seemingly disparate group. God forbid, not selective SUPRESSION OF COMPETITION! Anyway, I've been unable to re-locate this info., but if it matters, more skilled diggers than I, might be able to find it.
