I left Interstate 5 and was having trouble getting back on due to construction.

I stopped at a tavern for directions, then used their bathroom and phone. I thought buying a beer was appropriate so I sidled up to a few regulars at the bar and ordered a beer.

They were talking about lawyers and generally referring to them as "assholes" and specifically "flaming assholes" and "utter assholes"

I interrupted to say that I took exception to their references.

One of them askled me what kind of lawyer I was, to which I replied: "Lawyer? I'm no fucking lawyer, I'm an asshole."
