No I'm not in LA or the west coast, I'm in Minnesota (Midwest) just as my profile says. I do own and operate a large plumbing company, honestly.
Regarding your statistics, I would say it's 1 out of 100 for gas tankless water heaters vs tank that we sell and install. I can't even remember the last time we were asked to install an electric whole house tankless water heater, just no demand for them around here and that's the truth.
