The comment that "they don't even know if they work at this point" is really insulting to the engineering work involved in developing new products.
- Microwaves heat up water, period. So from that point, everyone should know that the product "works", the question is how efficient.
-- The microwaves in this product work at the frequency most efficient at heating water (it's a pretty cool process, the alternating wave causes the water molecules - an electric dipole - to spin, generating heat).
-- The area of heat transfer inefficiency in microwaves is heating of the microwave unit itself, but this product will eliminate this inefficiency by transferring this heat to the water by running the water by the magnetrons, thus cooling the magnetrons and further heating the water.

So, in summary, THE PRODUCT WORKS, at this point they're just evaluating overall efficiency and tweaking where necessary.

Please don't try to dumb down what we have here and all of the work that has gone into it with obnoxious comments.
