Yes, it appears they tried to co-opt the entire patent without any type of due process. Just because you owe someone money doesn't mean you can take over the patent without some type of formal process. It appears they are quick to file documents with the USPTO claiming ownership, but no documents disclaiming ownership. I don't know if any of the claims make any difference to the USPTO, but the record should reflect what actually exists. Rights to 25% doesn't mean you own the patent, it means you have an interest in it. I'll be surprised if they don't lose and I hope they lose the entire prior judgment amount. Why are they now willing to give up $100 million for the patents? It's always been about the patents. He is claiming Calypso defaulted on the prior judgment. So take Calypso to court and get an order by the court. Instead they just tried to co-opt the patents claiming Calypso defaulted.
