That was simply awesome. why wasn't that speech more widely hailed by the media? i will spread it around.

i thank the board for the pros and cons of margin. it's an example of the informative views i've witnessed here since june of 2001. i should also note the edge, sarcasm and lack of tolerance towards each others views. it reminded me of sitting around the dinner table and i would ask what i thought was an innocent question and the next thing i knew my parents were screaming at each other and i was scared shit. terrible way to grow up, but anyway.

i've made a decent living buying real estate when they were giving it away in the early 90's. i was fully leveraged and now i'm fully out. i did well, and i won't touch it as i smell bubbles. i see stock and idcc as being in the early 90's, and i agree with those who suggested careful management and i would not be comfortable with a 40% haircut. no offense intended.

my next question. is'nt there usually a selloff at the end of the year by managers for tax reasons? look forward to your responses, g.
