Answer: The best way to prevent water drips on a window sill or floor is by removing any excess water from the wash pad. Simply soak the wash pad in your soapy solution until wet throughout and then squeeze out any excess water, leaving you with a damp, sudsy pad.
Why should I use the wash pad and squeegee blade together for drying glass?
Answer: The advantage of using the wash pad and squeegee blade at the same time while drying is that the wash pad prevents the surface to be cleaned and the squeegee blade from drying to the touch. Remember the secret to the Ultimate Squeegee's streak free results, "A wet squeegee will not streak!"
How do I pre-wash the glass surface?
Answer: To pre-wash a glass surface, simply tilt the squeegee blade away from glass surface leaving only the wash pad in contact with glass surface. The wash pad can now be used to pre-wash the glass surface using only soap suds. Also, the squeegee blade can be removed entirely by pressing the quick-release button located on the arm of the Ultimate Squeegee and pulling the squeegee part up and out. Separating the Ultimate Squeegee into two separate parts will allow for pre-washing with no interference from the squeegee blade. Simply re-attach the squeegee blade to the wash pad side when you're ready to see streak-free results with the Ultimate Squeegee.
What types of surfaces can I use the Ultimate Squeegee on?
Answer: The Ultimate Squeegee can be used on most smooth or polished, non-absorbent surfaces such as glass windows, mirrors, glass tables, shower doors, smooth tiles, automotive glass, fiberglass, or acrylic glass such as Perspex and Plexiglas. Choose cleaners that are effective but non-abrasive, nor harmful to environment, but take note that household dish soap is the number one choice of professional window cleaners.
How do I care for my Ultimate Squeegee?
Answer: After using your Ultimate Squeegee, rinse the squeegee blade with warm water, and allow it to air-dry. The wash pad is removable and machine-washable and dryable. However, refrain from using fabric softeners as this will reduce the absorbency of the microfiber wash pads over time due to softener buildup.
