tc. Just to let you know, that "smart-security" hi-jack, problem you helped me with (few days ago) was known by posters on other links ; but, I could not make it stay away. As last resort.. did a complete restore. Now, OK. Fortunately, wasn't much of permenant value to be lost from hard drive.. Thanks again for taking time to respond. no response expected to this post... BT
