Amen!!! VERY well said and I couldn't agree more. He damn near won that tournament but for a couple bad bounces that had they gone the other way the ending may have been different.
At this point I feel the media is just as culpable as anything Tiger did because they keep trying to bring his fall from grace back in to the story. Like Jim Nantz saying that the spectators that were not clapping as Tiger approached the greens were showing their opinion of him. We're talking a couple of people that weren't clapping their hands, that's all. To try and make it in to something more than it really was is irresponsible reporting in my book.
I don't think there are very many other players, and perhaps NO other players that could have taken off the time that Tiger did, and have the first tournament back be the Masters and put on the show he did.
I truly hope that people let Tiger move on with his life and that we all just get back to talking about golf. The man can atone for his misdeeds in private as it should be, with his family.
