Here's what you can expect for sure. They will grill Washington Mutual former officers about why they made such risky loans and should have known better. This I guarantee you. They (the politicians) are looking for sacraficial lambs to slaughter and blame for this mess in lieu of themselves, especially around re-election time. There will be little or no focus on why the bank was seized and what the circumstances surrounding the seizure were. Watch and see. If I am wrong, then I will be pleasantly surprised, but am doubtful that I will be. IMHO.....
