A poster at Yahoo got into this "mineral rights" value yesterday on how easy it would have been for WMB to retain the mineral rights on many properties they may have acquired over the years.

I checked Tarrant County, Tx ... latest big oil/gas leases in the Barnett Shale area ... and didn't see any listed under WMI, WMB, or JPM.

Someone who has more O&G experience than I do .. like Oilstrike ... might be able to tell us how to track down mineral rights ownership in some hot areas to see if they have any properties listed.
