to remember both a Milkman & glass bottles :o)

For me it was before the homogenized feature
was introduced and one had to shake that bottle
before pouring, or take that creme top and let
others "have their cake & skim milk too"
which was do'able just so it was my little brother
or my older brother i could out-fight, but not my Dad.

as in, iHub's growth seemed to grow very fast,
and i'am not sure if it was all them reader's of
the Z-Turnip thread that never registered
but only did them reads in the Zillions.

I'am sure any url into a iHub message is displayed,
but i don't know if an un-registered iHub person
can enter the iHub home page and display boards,
and if so, from there goto a board and do reads
using the Next feature.
so,
If they can, then thats too much a Free-B
and Matt should disable that so they do a Free register.
I think my initial look at Si allowed me to Next posts
without any free register.
anyway,
The very high recent traffic on iHub might be "invisible"
reads done by folks this way that needed not free register
to access boards directly.
but,
Then that would reduce ad traffic if a register was required
and 1/2 of these folks did not register. Guess that would
cut into 1/2 Bob's smoke paycheck :o)
but,
There might be a higher turn over into a paying member
from registered fredd users than invisible users.
