Maybe you have not lost any money owning Ford, but did you own Ford in 2006-2007 and then watch Ford go from $8 to below $1? If you held on or bought while Ford was $1 congrats to you but many people actually lost a lot of money with Ford during 2009.

Sometimes it's all about timing, when to get in when to get out. I guess that is true in all aspects of life. As for me, I originally got in TSHO at around 60 cents on Skymarks recommendation and sold some during the run up but still hold quite a few shares. To call TSHO a pump and dump is completely wrong. Was it a pump and dump during the 6-8 weeks that I held the stock when it traded in the 6--70 cent range? I visited the board often and don't recall any mention of a pump and dump scheme. So the stock got ahead of itself, it happens all the time look at SNSS, NEXM or ENMD. If you don't like the volatility or don't understand technical analysis enough to know when to get in or get out then instead of whining and blaming shorters, skymark or who ever else just go to your local bank and put your money in a safe and conservative CD that will yield 1-3%.
