I'm looking for backup software and I'm hoping that you or others on this board will be kind enough to make suggestions.

I realize that Casper has been recommended, but Casper requires as much space on the backup drive as is on the drive being backed up. That is, a 1T drive requires 1T of backup space regardless of whether all that space is used on the original drive. For various reasons I need a solution that only requires as much space on the backup drive as the data being backed up.

To this point I've used Acronis TI 10 but I recently switched to Windows 7 Home 64 bit - Acronis TI 10 doesn't work there and the reviews of Acronis 2010 on Win 7 have been mixed.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
