I might be way off on this but maybe the insurance increase was a requirement for the RE deal to get finished up. I'm pretty sure the RE company has a bit to say about what coverage they want and most other ID theft companies offer some sort of $1M coverage. Why they PR'd it now is anyones guess. Just an opinion Im probably wrong.
