RE: shorting>there are 1 or 2 brokers that do allow shorting of pinks and otc plays. (None any regular people have probably ever heard of). But there are a few rules that go along with shorting these. One, you need at least $200 k or so in your account to do it, and two and most importantly, if you short during the day, it MUST be covered before the close THAT day. Pushing aside the fact that RTGV is a 3-4 cent stock that does what....$15,000 a day in volume which hardly makes shorting worthwhile, take into account the info I gave and trust me, this isnt being shorted.

For your sakes you should hope it isn't being shorted, because then you might get a lead in that this really would close this time. As usually its smart people/market makers that would be the type to short that might have some kind of inside info as to whether this would close or not. So imo, IF its being shorted, (which its not lol) then a sign of shorting imo is NOT a good thing as far as a close.
