Seychelle's Superior Technology Gives Us the Edge in Portable Water Filtration........
Mar 18, 2010 04:35:05 (ET)
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif., Mar 18, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Carl Palmer, President and CEO of Seychelle Water Filtration Products, a DBA of Seychelle Environmental Technologies, Inc. (SYEV, Trade ) said, "Our Proprietary Portable Filtration System with Ionic Adsorption Micron Filtration (IAMF) is not a carbon filter as other companies are using, but is made out of powder activated coconut and other proprietary medias; that result in a torturous path for the source water to travel through and causes contaminants to adhere to the filter."
Seychelle's IAMF is the technology of the 21st Century and will take out up to 99.99% of the contaminants (as defined by the EPA Booklet 815-K-97-002) in tap water or any other water source other than salt water and provides the consumer with the purity they require to stay healthy, the great taste they will enjoy and the economies they demand. Importantly, the filter leaves in trace minerals that are good for you such as salt, calcium, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus.
The proprietary Seychelle Filter (IAMF) has been tested extensively by Independent Government laboratories in the US and throughout the world to strict EPA/ANSI protocols and NSF Standards 42 and 53. As a result, Seychelle is a worldwide leader in the development, manufacture and sale of proprietary portable water filtration bottles.
Mr. Palmer said, "Since 70% of the water people consume is away from home, the filter is designed for portable application and as a result, is convenient to take anywhere away from home in recyclable bottles. The Seychelle bottles are non-leaching plastic # 4 (LDPE), BPA free and protect the environment by "going green" unlike single use bottled water (PET) that use millions of barrels of oil to produce and transport; with over 30 billion empty bottles in the US annually ending up in landfills where they might last for 1,000 years!"
The Seychelle filter produces up to 378 (18 oz plastic bottle) or 757 (28 oz plastic bottle) half liters of water depending on the bottle size used before needing replacement. The time to change the filter is when the water flow is greatly reduced by the trapping of contaminants by the filter. The filter is also available in 27 oz stainless steel bottles, drinking water straws, pure water bags, pumps, canteens and water pitchers.
Finally, Mr. Palmer said, "There are three versions of this unique filter: (1) Fast Flow for use with Tap Water and as a bottled water replacement; (2) Standard for use with other fresh water sources such as rivers, streams, ponds and creeks and (3) Advanced for use in extreme conditions such as disaster relief in Haiti and Chile, and in third world countries where drinking water might not be disinfected."
Seychelle products and replacement filters are available at www.seychelle.com and at selected retailers in the US and Canada.
