In 1980,with 100k,this is what was possible in my neck of the woods.

50k bought you a very nice home
15k furnished it quite nicely
15k got you a very nice car

the other 20k left in a cd was paying 18%/year for a 5 year term(3600.00/year)



The same thing today requires; at least 1.5-2.0 million and your not any better off lol...

We only pass through these earthly portals once,and we are not here for a long time.Therefore,it should be a good time :)
