The content battle is far fetched. The NFL deal for SIRI and baseball deal for XMSR is a joke. Who would pay a monthly fee and sign up to listen to football and baseball on the radio when you can get it on regular radio anyway. I can see the Stern license as content driven but I would think that demand for satellite radio is more music based, not sports oriented. (Note: Since the Stern agreement was announced, XMSR has not seen any change to the rate of subscribers signing up.) Do you really think 40 million people are going to sign up to listen to baseball? I can see that some diehards that are travelling on a particular Sunday during the year and need their fix would like to listen to their hometown team but that isn't going to drive millions of subscribers.

SIRI lost the Toyota battle to XMSR! I was blown away by yesterdays stock movement after reading the deal. You certainly picked the perfect stock to trade. Can't get much more volatile.
