I was in the same boat man when I started. I started learning about technical analysis and charts through the site below..

Its a great place to start in order to learn how to read charts, technicals, etc... it will make you more informed and thus you can make better trading decisions.

What i was referring to - parabolic SAR - is a technical indicator which can be found at that site and you can read about it fully.

Let me know if you need any more help or actually let anyone of the guys on this board know.. everyone's here to help
