Yep, just by the nature of what they do.
They are required to keep the security trading if the market will have it.

Regardless of the imbalances between supply & demand, the MM has some clock time to work their magic and profits.
They don't provide their exposure for free and they are allowed to manipulate the positions that are forced upon them into profits.

So, sure, they do it, profit from it, over and over and over again.
