The boards are quiet because the Market Makers have scored an IMPORTANT victory in THEIR mind. Euphoria in retail investors has been neutralized for a brief time, as planned.
How so, Lucky?
Last week, the momentum rushing into this stock was starting to FEAK the MM's! They were pushing the edge of LOSING control of this stock, so many people were rushing in to buy shares.
Their remedy for such a fearful thing? Put a HEAVY LID on euphoria, and there is no better TOOL for them to do that than to short the absolutely crap out of the stock. (REALIZE - the MM's make money shorting a stock down ... and then they make money covering and going long CHEAP. Going long CHEAP is fairytail stuff if they don't get to sell those cheap shares THEN long MUCH HIGHER IN SHARE PRICE - savy?)
(With no wazoo PR to bring even greater momentum, which means NEW money being laid down on the casino table, the MM's will flatline the stock.)
Back to the point: This last Monday afternoon, Tuesday, and Wednesday was the evidence of their success. They not only regained control of the stock; they made a HUGE profit in the process.
What the MM's did was KICK THE BREATH right out of the momentum .. in THEIR minds ... for a very important reason. And what is that reason? To maintain CONTROL of this stock.
And WHY must they maintain control of this stock and every OTHER stock? So that THEY do NOT lose money!!!!!
The MM's do NOT exist to make you and I money. They exist to make THEMSELVES money, and as MUCH as they possible can, while keeping customers coming into the casino to keep leaving it with the casino.
The MM's now realize that they can go no FURTHER to squeeze this stock, which MEANS: It's soon time to start running it higher. But they need HELP from Ike. They AREN'T going to risk running it all on their own ... on "Air".
Ike is the one who holds the ace card NOW from here going forward. I hope he plays it wisely. So do the MM's. (I think they are routing for him, personally!)
