RG wasn't famous. He was just another lawyer in a large law firm. Xers worked him up to be something he wasn't.

not a single shareholders knew what was going on till all the recent facts were introduced.

The shareholders knew it and the facts unraveled long ago. The problem was that the shareholders refused to believe the facts and some still do.
