I see that some of you have not come to some important thoughts regarding this news.

The device patent was never transferred to XTend. Though the PR states that they will recreate this device using blueprints, the device will not be issued a patent unless it alters its structure and/or claims. This will involve hiring a device designer,a bio medical engineer and follow up testing including clinical trials using FDA guidelines. Time line will be years. How long will the cash hold out until this device is brought to market?

Safe to say that Mr Lee will not be coming back into this venture. One thing that I have not seen mentioned is the very real possibility that this device does not work ,hence the backing out by Mr Lee. Had he turned over the device, the jig would have been up. Holding back on supplying the device reeks of a non functioning product. Had Mr Lee been approached by a larger buyer, Mr Lee along with PL could have sold the device for a nice chunk of change. Mr Lee has held a patent for several years that makes various incredible claims. The fact that no large company has approached him to buy this device says it all.

There is also a very real possibility that those involved with XTend were a part of this ruse. The possibility that XTend had full knowledge and/or worked along with Mr Lee to formulate this dubious plan can not be discounted.

Complaints are often filed by one party hoping to establish credibility and innocence. Often it is a game of who can establish the better defense first.
