I think trial is not a bad scenario, it's actually better.

Just a little more time (after waiting for 18 months, we maybe can wait a little bit more)

In exchange we could get more money (x2 or x3 treble damages)

Also we would get justice served plus probably some people in jail

I don't care, settlement now or trial later. Both are good to me.
