trying to completely ignore that other thing lol anyway I posted this on SI but will here too as i think it OT for other two golf threads.

Gents. Looking for some parenting advice.

MY son is starting golf this year as a member at 13 years old with his 14 year old buddies. He doesnt have much athletic interest and like many kids of today would be just as happy to play on the computer or PS3 all summer. That obviously will not be allowed regardless of what he does.

He has quite evrything in the past and I have great fears this will be a bust and Its not because its golf - I dont care if he is in the ballet. I just want his engaged in something other than Call of Duty

I basically am retired at 45 ( I own a business that runs itself so I can be there all day or I can on the course) so I can dedicet my entire summer.

I played every sport . I was a member at 10 with no parents as members but I loved it. I Played Baseball in CANADA LOL NO soccer, and fished all summer. MY summer busy.

Winters like all caunkc boys wa sin teh rink which I played right into Junior A and University SO for my son to shun Hockey completely even street hockey well - on one level I was hurt and on another it has gotten so crazy Im ok with it.

HOW CAN I GET HIM ENGAGED INHIT. GREAT NEWS IS HE HAS FRIENDS TO PLAY WITH. I WILL PLAY WITH HIM EARLY AND I HAVE UNLCES WHO WILL TAKE HIM OUT . I also am very close frinded with both pros.

any tips even little one would be a great help. as you can tell I am concerned and want to give him SOMTHING to enjoy
