I'm surprised he didn't already pull the plug just based on people writing to him demanding to have validation of something that Gaffney already PR'ed!

Gaffney may have reassured him that with the pending IMAI/APHY deal going down that the collective will be up and running by April 1st, to which Smith might be thinking..."Yeah right!"
