Per the rules, my vote was invalidated since I cannot vote for my own nomination. So, I'll just sit back and watch.

FWIW, I think that rule will limit the number of votes cast, as each person who nominated a board name initially will have the desire to vote for their own choice. The people who are most likely to vote now are the same people who posted original nominations. However, even if you relaxed the rule there would be the problem of each poster voting for their nominated name. Thus it will be difficult to pare the list to 10 and even more difficult to come up with one final winner, based on popular vote. Am I making sense?

I guess this is why we only have 2 major political parties in the US. Otherwise, we could never decide anything by vote!
