TexasPlains, my understanding of the purpose of these investor presentations is that they are done for the benefit of current shareholders -- to get the company's message out to the Street and spark interest among new investors, creating demand for shares and an increase in SP. In the past Wave has sometimes made similar presentations for a different reason, in connection with PPs. Those presentations were done through Wave's underwriter for those issuances. This time is different, as was the most recent presentation. Companies do this when they have reason to believe that their stock is undervalued, and that greater exposure to investors will lift the shareprice. In other words, you do it if you have a compelling growth story to tell, and not if your news is already built into the share price.
